Eating a magnum can prove to be profoundly deep. With the first paper approaching on Monday, kicking off the start to the O levels, I feel somewhat disoriented. Life as it seems, appears to be going about its daily rituals and the tranquillity of home seems to overlay the precarious situation. However, the underlying inevitable is that the paper starts on Monday afternoon and procrastination does nothing to halt it’s arrival. Os have been demonised( getting use to British spelling) incessantly. It grates my nerves whenever I see people tweet or whine about impending Doomsday brought by Os. It’s just another obstacle in life so can ya’ll chill about it. You’re not going to whine about every difficulty you face , are you? Sigh… thinning patience.
Just get on with it and do what you have to do. Stop making a mountain out of a molehill. No one is forcing you to turn up at school on Monday.
In retrospect, what I have learnt from 4 years in Secondary school is you aren’t always going to do what you like. Sometimes, there isn’t the privilege of a choice. Each roadblock is a test of your character and strength. Just suck it in, grit your teeth and push through. Stop being a lil bitch about how you can’t do this or that just because the books have this unspoken authority over you. If you want your desired score for Os, then YOU make the sacrifice. Otherwise, continue with YOUR life. Os isn’t life, life isn’t Os. Stop being a slave to institutionalised education. What you do is based on what you want and if you don’t want to do what it takes to get what you want, then you won’t get what you want.
And if until now it’s still hard to tell, I will underscore it for you.
It’s all about YOU (I actually can’t find the underscore thing)
